Dutch family in the centre of Amsterdam are looking for a part time nanny. A curious and chatty toddler who will be two in September, is looking for a proactive nanny with a warm and caring approach. His baby brother was born in May 2020 so candidates must have baby experience and experience of caring for more than one child.
The family are flexible on the hours either 8 – 3pm or 8 – 4pm or 7 – 3pm. The family are open to having the nanny two or three days per week. There is some flexibility on which days.
Ideal nannies will be very proactive and have lots of energy. Every week you need to have a plan for developmentally appropriate and educational activities for the children. This can be at home and out and about. You will have access to a zoo membership, museum membership and the Mum is keen for you and little one to sign up for local classes. He currently attends a weekly music class. There is access to a bike when on duty. They also live close to a variety of transport links.
Standard nursery duties, tidying up after the children and doing grocery shopping for the children are part of this job.
The Mum will be on maternity leave then this will become a sole charge role.
A creative nanny who is happy to encourage the toddler to try a variety of foods and happy to cook healthy meals from scratch is needed for this job.
There is the possibility of extra hours in the evenings or weekends.
The toddler loves phones, the family would prefer you not to use your phone around him.
Vijzelgracht metro is a five minute walk from the house.
The family are looking to create a long term relationship with the nanny. They would love someone happy to commit for a more than a year.
