An American family with three daughters needs a relaxed and confident part time nanny. The girls are seven, five and three years old.

The nanny will be working 8.30 - 6.30pm one day and two days from 1.30 - 6.30pm. The family can be flexible on the days. You must be available on a Wednesday. It's unlikely the nanny will work on a Friday. The family can offer extra hours in the school holidays.

It' important you are comfortable with the parents being around as they are both working from home. It is a sole charge job but they will help with the school runs.

The youngest currently attends daycare full time. She will spend the full day with the nanny. From March 2020 she will attend Dutch school. Ideally you need to drive as the older children attend International School in Amstelveen. There is also access to a Urban Arrow bakfiets.

At the moment the children are not attending many activities. They are having playdates with friends from school.

The girls love putting on plays and being creative. You must be very engaged and attentive.

They love being outside at the playground or playing on their scooters. They also love reading. The nanny needs to have a firm but fair approach.

Ideal candidates are extremely reliable, proactive and confident using their initiative. You need to be very open and have a mature attitude.

Ideally you need to be available from October but the family can wait until November for the right candidate.

Candidates must live in Amsterdam and either walk, drive or cycle to work.

Nursery duties, cooking and general tidying are part of your duties. You need to be happy prepping or making dinner for the whole family.

The family relocated from the UK last year. A Holgate Nanny has been helping the family on a temporary basis, she highly recommends the job.
