Five year old little girl and twenty two month old brother seek a nanny for 30 hours per week. The family can be slightly flexible on the exact hours an approximate schedule will be Monday and Tuesday from 12.30 - 6.30pm and Thursday and Friday from 8.30 - 6pm or Monday and Tuesday 2.30 - 6.30pm, 8.30 - 6pm on Thursday and Friday’s and a few hours on a Wednesday. The family would also consider a nanny who didn't do the family assistant duties this would be less hours approximately 26 per week. Every so often there may be an opportunity of extra hours during evenings or weekends. Covid19 dependent the parents may travel for work in the future.
Both parents are currently working in separate rooms from home, going forward they may continue a schedule of working both at home and in the office. This is predominantly a sole charge role.
The children love reading stories, painting, crafts, cars and the eldest has a very active social schedule of playdates with friends.
The five year old is at school full time and her brother attends daycare. Each day will be slightly different on a Monday and Tuesday you will start at 12.30 with family assistant tasks including doing the family’s laundry, cooking, grocery shopping, errands and nursery duties. The eldest needs collecting from school at 3.15pm then you will collect her brother from daycare. Thursday and Friday will be more child focused. This role is a mixture of childcare and household duties. It's vital you are happy to help out where needed. The children eat a wide variety of food, part of the nanny duties are preparing dinner for the whole family. The parents are very tidy and would appreciate a nanny who will support this including sweeping or vacuuming after mealtimes. During the school holidays and day's the children are at home the family assistant duties will not be required. They have a regular cleaner.
Respecting and acknowledging the children’s feelings is very important to the parents. A bubbly, cheerful nanny who is confident at setting boundaries. The family would like a nanny who can provide structure and routine. Someone who takes initiative including proactively coming up with a plan for the day.
